Boats)

This is a very popular activity because you can enjoy looking up the cherry blossoms from the moat. You can hire a boat between 9am to 8:30pm (entry by 8pm) during the Cherry Blossom Festival. JPY800 for 30 minutes. There might be a long queue of up to two-three hours, especially at weekends. When you queue, please keep moving forward gradually so that the end of queue does not block the footpath. 

Illumination)

The Chidorigafuchi Ryokudo (Greenway) is illuminated during the festival from 6pm to 10pm. Many people enjoy taking photos from the terrace above the jetty and the viewing spot at Kudanzaka park on Kudanzaka slope. Please bring something to wrap up in, as it could still be chilly in the evening.

Restaurant)

There is no café, restaurant or food stall on the Chidorigafuchi Ryokudo (Greenway). You will find places to eat on Yasukuni street, north of the Chidorigafuchi Ryokudo (Greenway), or to the south around the Hanzomon station area.

Toilets)

There are public toilets at the south side of the boat jetty on the Chidorigafuchi Ryokudo (Greenway). The toilets in the Chiyoda National Cemetery are open to the public during the daytime only. Other public toilets are in the Kudanzaka park (north of the Chidorigafuchi Ryokudo (Greenway), and in the Kitanomaru park.
